HIGHLAND CLASSIC 2022 OSSA MAR

We were asked to build a bike for Mick Andrews to ride as guest of honour in the Highland Classic Trial in June 2022. Full article is in Classic Dirt Bike Magazine issue 64 Autumn 2022

Using one of our special build T45 replica frames as a base, an old school colour scheme based on one the early Ossa Plonkers/Pennines Mick rode in the late ‘60 the end result can be seen on these images.

We have used Ossa TR80 wheel hubs on this build along with the remanufactured items we stock, such as sump guards and brackets, fork brace, handlebar clamps, chain guards, seat base and side panels all of which are listed or available from us on our website or call.

This frame has shortened engine down tubes at the front to aid easy removal and installation of a complete engine rather than removing barrel and head. The foot peg position and headstock have been altered to suit modern day riding. The frame is approx. 5.5k lighter than a standard MAR

The engine is a basic 250cc MAR which has been fully rebuilt, with the addition of a reed valve conversion and switchable programme ignition.

Forks are standard Ossa again fully rebuilt and set up to suit the rider along with Magical rear shocks. Spokes and rims are all new supplied and built by us.

The bike has now been sold to a trials bike collector.
